I’m sure you know all about the iPhone 4 antenna saga which placed egg on the faces of the Apple boys. After all they did say they would reinvent the phone, which they did! They just forgot the phone part.

Anyway, Apple started sending out free cases as a quick fix to the problem but now rumours are floating about that Apple have fixed the hardware problem and will be released a revised version of the iPhone 4 on September 30th.
Now this is just a rumour at the moment which started when Marco Quartorze from Telcol (the mexican iPhone 4 carrier) claimed a revised version of the iPhone fixes these problems.
I’m not sure what to make of the rumour, Apple had a huge music event this past Wednesday and didn’t mention anything to do with a new iPhone 4.
The question remains though, if Apple do released an updated iPhone 4 – will existing owners get a free replacement? I sure hope so!
